Book Synopsis:

WHEN IT’S ME AND YOU, IT’S JUST US TWO.

I’VE MADE MISTAKES BUT I REFUSE TO DIE KNOWING I DIDN’T MAKE THINGS RIGHT.

My Review:

I finished the book and I have mixed feelings. The couple got their happily ever after, which is always satisfying in a romance novel, however I was left feeling a bit unsatisfied. As far as the book in general, some situations were introduced but not revisited, leaving a few loose ends. The narrative included too much detail at times and not enough dialogue between characters. The female lead’s responses to relationship issues sometimes felt unconvincing, or rather, unrealistic. The male character’s thoughts and actions at times seemed more fitting for a young adult, rather than the 30 year old he was supposed to be. Although set in the 90s, the story occasionally felt modern. Despite these points, there were moments of charm and sweetness that kept me reading.
