Book Synopsis:

It all started with one record…

He’s been hooked on her since he caught her singing in her garage. She felt their souls intertwine the moment they touched. But their love goes deeper than a chance encounter. Just how far will one of them have to go to prove it?

My Review:

I think this is my favorite story I’ve read from A.C. Taylor. The characters and storylines showed just how good her writing capabilities are. Troy and Syd were super cute. I loved how they waited until what they both felt was the right time to take their relationship to the next level, and no I don’t mean the sex. Trust, there was plenty of that hotness taking place. And I loved their relationships with their families, well for the most part. But I won’t go into detail there. I’ll let y’all find out those juicy details yourselves.

There were a few storylines that I felt like we should have gotten just a little more closure on. The cousins and their relationships with their parents. The whole Jones’ family and their situation. I felt like I was left hanging just a little bit. However, none of that took away from the overall body of work.

Keeping my fingers crossed that we get a few stories about some of the secondary characters! I’d read any of those in a heartbeat.
