Book Synopsis:

A FORBIDDEN LOVE SET IN THE EXPLOSIVE WORLD OF THE NBA…

Think you know what it’s like being a baller’s girl?
You don’t.
My fairy tale is upside down.
A happily never after.
I kissed the prince and he turned into a fraud.
I was a fool, and his love – fool’s gold.
Now there’s a new player in the game, August West.
One of the NBA’s brightest stars.
Fine. Forbidden.
He wants me. I want him.
But my past, my fraudulent prince, just won’t let me go

*Some aspects of this story may be sensitive for some readers.

My Review:

“I’d play you at five” it’s rare that so few words have touched me so deeply. Y’all know I love a good sports romance, but this was so much more than that. This took my soul through the trenches. You never know what’s happening behind closed doors. You always assume you know how you’d react to a situation if it was happening to you, but then it happens to you and this thing called life causes you to react in ways you never thought you would. Hope. Healing. Love. Anything you could want in a story, Kennedy delivered. And then some.
